Who pays for the South Eastern BEC?CRBEC

We have contracts with several government departments to deliver services.

We have a contract to provide Subsidised Business Advisory Services with the NSW Department of Trade and Industry under the Small Biz Connect program.

The Work Placement Coordinators in Queanbeyan, Goulburn and Young are funded by the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and NSW Department of Education and Training.

DEEWR funds the Partnership Brokers program in the region.

Further funding and local support comes from the councils in the areas we cover - the Queanbeyan City Council provides some in-kind support.

Other income is derived from training programs, networking events and other fee-for-service activities.

Sponsorship by local business people is also very important to the ongoing viability of your BEC.

BEC's a National Network!

The South Eastern BEC is currently undergoing a name change from the Capital Region BEC to reflect the extended region we cover under the new Small Biz Connect program.
