The new ACT Work Safety Act

- what it means for your small business in 2010

 

The Capital Region BEC brings you a special Free workshop for all those businesses that do work in Canberra.

Presented by Mark McCabe the ACT Work Safety Commissioner.

 

Topics will Include:

  • the basic provisions of the ACT's Work Safety Act 2008
  • what it means for a small business
  • why avoiding dealing with health and safety is an unnecessary risk that could impact on your business' survival
  • what the basic steps to achieving compliance are
  • what resources are available to help you.

Mark is a relaxed and entertaining speaker with a great depth of knowledge.

His role as Commissioner is to inform and educate businesses about Work Safety.
