Speaker: Hugh Percy                

Hugh is the former General Manager of the Queanbeyan City Council.

He held this position for 15 years in addition to 15 years as Deputy Town Clerk.

The Queanbeyan City Council services all residents of Queanbeyan and the surrounding areas with approximately 35,000 residents.

Hugh was responsible for managing this organization, which employs over 300 employees and operates with an annual budget of $52 million.

Hugh was recently appointed by the NSW State Government to undertake the role of administrator for the Walgett Shire Council.

He was selected for this critical role due to the outstanding results he achieved in the Queanbeyan area and his commitment to providing quality governance and effective leadership in supporting and enriching community life.

He is an expert in Government relations, business management, human resource management, event management, community consultation, complaint handling and negotiations.

Hugh is well known as a 'down to earth' entertaining speaker with a commitment to small business and his community.
