Drap'hyd stands alone in Australia amongst some of the greatest white wool producers in the world. 
Kerrie Jarius established Fax n Figures Bookkeeping Services 11 years ago as a local home based business. Fax n Figures provides bookkeeping for over 30 local and interstate companies including : Bus Advertising – servicing advertising for more than 50 Bus Companies and many great local companies such as Jayco Canberra, Bison Homewares, Unique Meats, Specialised Pavement Services and Footcraft Podiatry Clinics. Kim Houghton set up Strategic Economic Solutions Pty Ltd in 1997 to provide services to a broad range of clients wanting to understand the economic issues affecting their communities. Kim has a PhD in economics from ANU and his other qualifications include a BSc Hons in Geophysics from the University of Tasmania, accreditation as a community mediator and facilitator. Kim is a fun and exciting presenter and has a reputation as a performance poet. Richard Everson. Richard and wife Evelyn operate Country Guesthouse Schönegg at Murrumbateman. Since opening in March 2003 their business has grown at over 250 % per anum, winning several major tourism awards along the way. Richard will offer 5 tips to overcome the isolation of a home-based business. Jenny Hemmings from Maxwells Services Training College works from a home office at Captains Flat with a power team of specialists to support and grow the business. Jenny's role is to shape the business - "continually improving our service and products for our clients", and to contribute as a community member to encourage the successful personal and business development of young achievers. Jane Southwell from Farm Animal Resource Management provides farm animals and resources for promotional, educational and tourism associated events and displays. Jane is a sixth generation farmer whose love of the land led her to recognize the need for this knowledge and experience to be shared with city people, particularly children. The business is located on a picturesque grazing property situated on the Boorowa River near Yass. From small features to major festivals and events - Jane's talented team brings the country to the city in a unique and professional manner.
Anne Prendergast following extensive experience in both the public service and the private sector decided to set up her own secretarial business.
Style Secretarial Services specializes in minutes of meetings and also offers all other transcription and word processing work, mail outs, proof reading, clerical work and filing. Stina Kerans, along with her partner/husband Garry, has been involved in Sustainable Technologies for nearly 30 years. This home based business has had different façades during this time, such as energy, water treatment and recycling, composting toilets and the various buildings for them. Integrated EcoVillages has won many National and International awards. Our aim is to provide demonstrations of sustainable development suitable for cities. We are finally now focusing on our own Integrated projects - Sun Village in Queanbeyan, and the growing of an ecological Motel (Ecotel) in North Narooma.
