Genevieve opened her first business with her husband in the Canberra region in 1974. Since then, the business in commercial furniture, has developed into a multi-site office furniture supplier offering all types and styles of  furniture ranging from second-hand to the latest European design.

Interlink Commercial Furniture has showrooms in the ACT, Sydney, Adelaide and Darwin. Genevieve also has interests in a family property and manufacturing facilities in Queanbeyan and Ballarat.

It is a second-generation family business with Genevieve’s son involved in the management of the businesses. The businesses currently employ 45 employees and an annual turnover of more than $15 million.

Interlink Commercial Furniture works with Commonwealth and State Governments,    corporate clients as well as architects, designers, project  managers and builders.  Clients include Australian Federal Police, Defence Signals Directorate, Citigroup, RAMS Home Loans. Transfield, Air Services Australia, and Colgate Palmolive.

Genevieve has for many years been chair/president of many professional and community organisations including the Commercial Furniture Association of Australia and Canberra East Rotary.

She has undertaken 37 years of continuous community service whilst successfully raising a family and directing profitable businesses.
